MILITARY RELOCATION PROFESSIONAL
I received my MRP certification because I know that when military staff and their families need to relocate, the services of a real estate professional who understands their needs and the timetable they are given, can make the transfer easier, faster, and less stressful for the service member and family. The National Association of Realtors certification for Military Relocation Professionals is focuses on educating agents how to work with current and former military service members, helping them to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs while taking full advantage of military benefits and support.
My husband, Timothy Steers, moved from Oregon in 2000. Since then he has been serving our country as a United States Marine. In 2012 during a tour in Afghanistan he started studying for his real estate license. He successfully passed the tests when he returned to the States.
While he is still active duty marine, having him as part of the team is tremendous resources when it comes to helping someone sell their home or find their new home.
